Water Outage - 667 and surrounding roads
Please be advised that our team is currently addressing a water leak at Schield Road and FM 667. Due to unforeseen complications, service restoration may be delayed. Residents in the affected area may experience a temporary interruption of water service for the remainder of the day. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to resolve this issue. Boil Water Notice Rescinded

On 01/08/26, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the South Ellis County public water system to issue a boil water notice.
As of 01/13/26, Customers with service on FM 308 North, Thunder Rd, Sevier Rd, Derrs Chapel Rd, Shorty Ln, Dale Acres Rd, Carolyn Rd, Brandi Ln, and Pluto Rd, are no longer required to boil water.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling.
