Boil Water Notice Lifted
January 30, 2025
Boil Water Notice Rescinded 01/30/25 On 01/22/25, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the South Ellis County public water system to issue a boil water notice.
As of 01/30/25, Customers with service on on FM 308 North, Thunder Rd, Sevier Rd, Derrs Chapel Rd, Shorty Ln, Dale Acres Rd, Carolyn Rd, Brandi Ln, Pluto Rd, L R Campbell Rd, and Bell Branch Rd, are no longer required to boil water.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling.
