Boil Water Notice Rescinded
South Ellis County WSC
On 03/09/26, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the South Ellis County public water system to issue a boil water notice.
As of 03/19/26, Customers with service on Lowell Rd, Northwest County Rd 4220, Lowell Rd, Cosby Rd (only south of Lee Road, Wray Rd, Majors Rd, County Rd 4370, and County Rd 4410, County Road 4390, and Hwy 22 are no longer required to boil water.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling.
